Welcome to the Scottish Trucker Club The Scottish Trucker Club has been established since 1981 and is one of the longest established trucker clubs in Britain. It was set up by a group of drivers who wanted to get together and have a laugh and a drink or two. Over the years since then, the club has gone from strength to strength. We now have a membership of approximately 150 full and affiliated members. The club is now more of a family run club with a Juniors Club in the proccess of being started after the AGM in june 2010. Every member recieves a newsletter bi-monthly via email where possible or through the post, this keeps you in touch with all the club activities throughout the year. We hold around 5 or 6 nights out per year as well as attend Truckfest Scotland at Ingleston, Edinburgh and Truckmania at Knockhill. Although the last two events are not orginised by us we do provide the evening entertainment for the drivers and their families when the show is shut to the public. This year (2010) we are holding some fundraising events in the shape of a leg wax by Robert (wee fat boab) Fraser and will be raffling off signed RANGERS, CELTIC and FALKIRK football club shirts at the cost of £1 per ticket which will be on sale from the end of April to the 28th of August. The raffle will be drawn at a charity night we are holding in the Ochiltree Club Camelon, Falkirk on the 28th of August and tickets for the evening will be on sale nearer the time. THIS YEARS CHARITY IS NHS FORTH VALLEY ROYAL HOSPITAL, ONCOLOGY UNIT, LARBERT.
